Make the most of your summer season
If you’re like many of us here in southern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania, you’ve been spending more time at home this summer. It’s been rewarding in many ways, as it has been an opportunity to slow down, reduce distractions, and reconnect with our family and friends.
But staying home and social distancing have curtailed us from going places to have fun, whether it’s a day at the Jersey Shore or a big cookout at a friend’s residence.
If your back yard isn’t a great staycation destination, you can make it exactly that by adding outdoor propane appliances! (Many of these can be powered by the propane cylinders from Lil’ Hank’s Tank Exchange, located all over our service area!)
Propane grills: Easy, convenient, and great results
Did you know that about 80% of the grills in the United States are powered by propane? There are many good reasons why.
Ease of use and convenience are two of the big ones. When you want a quick supper on a weeknight, you don’t have to go through all the work of building a fire and cleaning up afterwards like you do with a charcoal grill. Just turn on the supply valve, turn on the grill, and in just minutes, you’re ready to grill!
When you grill with propane, there’s no overwhelming smoky odor and taste to overwhelm your food either. That means you’ll get better results with many foods you grill, especially lighter flavors like fish, chicken, and fruit.
Propane grills can be free-standing or built in, and come in a range of sizes, with features including side burners, smoker boxes, multi-level grilling surfaces, rotisseries, and more!
Propane fireplaces and firepits: Relaxing gathering spaces
It may be a hot summer, but it can still get cool at night. Propane fireplaces and firepits create warmth and an inviting ambiance.
You can have a fire in a snap. No having to bring out wood, no building a fire, and no worry about embers. Instead, just turn it on, and everyone can hang out around it, staying warm while relaxing with a glass of wine or whisky, or while the kids toast marshmallows. Or you can unwind with a good book and a cup of tea.
Propane deck and patio heaters: Make summer last longer!
Our stay-at-home ways may keep going well after summer ends. But, with propane deck and patio heaters, you aren’t forced back inside. Enjoy being outside even if the temperature goes down with a stylish heater than can be enjoyed by the whole family all at once!
